Cameron Heath, Barnett Waddingham, London
Cameron Heath is an actuary with fifteen years insurance experience, mostly within the London market.
He joined Barnett Waddingham (BW) in 2012 from the rating environment, having spent seven years with S&P. His responsibilities there included being the Global Head of Non-life Reserving & the European Head of Insurance Linked Securities.
Prior to that he worked in the London Market – both company & Lloyd’s – including Reserving, Capital Modelling and Loss Portfolio Transfer pricing. He has also worked in pensions and lectured at university.
As part of the GI team at BW, Cameron Heath provides actuarial, consultancy and strategic advice on actuarial issues to a wide range of clients. His particular focus is on BW’s Solvency 2 related offering including model validation, PPOs, reinsurance and investment strategy reviews to the UK and International market.
During his career he has written various articles for the insurance press, was co-author of a book on Insurance Linked Securities & papers presented to GIRO. He has spoken at a number of events, including GIRO, CAS & Institute seminars.
